Scottie Cahill

Scottie Cahill - President

Scottie started with Papa Murphy’s in 2013 purchasing three stores in Orlando. Since then he has opened an additional store for a total of four stores. He has been a board member for two years and President for one year. He also enjoys spending his free time running, swimming, biking and an occasional snowboarding trip.

DJ Cavanaugh

DJ Cavanaugh - Vice President

DJ has been in the system since 1997. He runs 6 stores in the Spokane DMA. He has also helped open Illinois #1, Ohio #1 both of which have since closed, as well as two stores in the Kansas City market that they ran for 5 years before selling them. He has served as a member of the Franchise Advisory Board for 12 years and as a member of the PMFA board for the last 8 years. DJ has been married to his wife Tanya for almost 23 years and they have 3 children Son Joseph 21, Daughters Ly'nee 19 and Allie 14. They live in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho and enjoy the outdoor activities that the area offers.

Kathleen Barr

Kathleen Barr - Treasurer

Kathleen and her husband Jack, have been franchisees since 1991 first owning the Petaluma store & shortly thereafter the Ukiah, Willits and Fort Bragg stores. Jack was instrumental in setting up PMFA in the 90s. Kathleen has been Treasurer of PMFA since 1999.

Evan Evans

Evan Evans - Secretary

Evan Evans has been associated with the Papa Murphy’s brand for over ten years, having joined the corporation’s ranks in September, 2005 as VP, Field Marketing.  He evolved the field marketing structure to align with the company’s needs.  Over time, Evan added the Corporate Communications and Consumer Research functions to his accountabilities, taking on external/media relations, internal/franchisee communications and consumer insights. In 2011, Evan acted on an opportunity to move back to his native Kansas City and acquire four existing Papa Murphy’s stores.  Since then, he has managed those stores’ turnaround and built a solid operation in KC, with Four- and Five-Star Stores to show for his efforts. An honors graduate of Dartmouth College, with a B.A. degree in English, Evan began his business career with packaging industry, and has since worked for such iconic brands as Hallmark Cards, Crayola and Applebee’s, serving in a variety of senior-level marketing positions. Evan lives in the Lee’s Summit, MO, with his wife and business partner, Marty.

BJ McDougal

BJ McDougal

BJ loves pizza! He started working at Papa Murphy's at the age of 14 with for his Brother and Father. He purchased his first location in 2003 and currently owns 8 franchises in Utah in addition to other restaurant franchised concepts in Idaho. He has a passion for the business, especially working with the young crew as they develop into leaders. BJ recently join the board in 2015.  

Spencer Rands

Spencer Rands

Spencer has been in Papa Murphy’s system since 2012. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors in Business Marketing. After graduation he moved back to his home town of Las Vegas to start opening stores in that emerging market. Opening one store each year Spencer and his wife Jana now own four stores. Spencer is also a pilot and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and one year old son Maverick flying around the southwest.

Darrell Doepke

Darrell Doepke

Darrell grew up in Wisconsin; lived 25 years in Seattle; now living full time in Phoenix. He had a successful career in advertising and marketing prior to opening an oil change franchise and then finally a Papa Murphy's franchise. He currently owns two stores in the Phoenix area. His hobbies include golf, music, and singing the national anthem at major sporting events.

Mike Niver

Mike has 2 stores in the Milwaukee Wisconsin DMA. He has been a franchisee for 15 years.

Richard Johnson

Richard Johnson

Richard was hired by Papa Murphy’s International as a Franchise Consultant in 1996. Primary responsibility - Oregon stores south of Salem. Left PMI in 1999 to work for franchisees Mark and Beth Hamlin. Returned to PMI in 2001, again as a consultant with stores in Oregon and Northern California. Was offered the opportunity to purchase two stores, Eugene River Rd and Junction City from Mark and Beth Hamlin in 2005. Became Eugene DMA president in 2009. Open third store August 2015, Eugene Barger Rd. Purchased 4 stores (Roseburg, Sutherlin, Green, Cottage Grove) from Debby Klein in December 2015. Married to Marie Johnson 4 Children, 5 Grandchildren Hometown Eugene, OR. University of Oregon Graduate. Recently retired from football officiating (19 years) Principle Race Officer, Eugene Yacht Club
