Scottie Cahill- President Scottie started with Papa Murphy’s in 2013 purchasing three stores in Orlando. Since then he has opened an additional store for a total of four stores. He has been a board member for two years and President for one year. He also enjoys spending his free time running, swimming, biking and an occasional snowboarding trip.
Darrell Doepke- Vice President Darrell grew up in Wisconsin; lived 25 years in Seattle; now living full time in Phoenix. He had a successful career in advertising and marketing prior to opening an oil change franchise and then finally a Papa Murphy's franchise. He currently owns two stores in the Phoenix area. His hobbies include golf, music, and singing the national anthem at major sporting events.
Richard Johnson- Treasurer Richard was hired by Papa Murphy’s International as a Franchise Consultant in 1996. Primary responsibility - Oregon stores south of Salem. Left PMI in 1999 to work for franchisees Mark and Beth Hamlin. Returned to PMI in 2001, again as a consultant with stores in Oregon and Northern California. Was offered the opportunity to purchase two stores, Eugene River Rd and Junction City from Mark and Beth Hamlin in 2005. Became Eugene DMA president in 2009. Open third store August 2015, Eugene Barger Rd. Purchased 4 stores (Roseburg, Sutherlin, Green, Cottage Grove) from Debby Klein in December 2015. Married to Marie Johnson 4 Children, 5 Grandchildren Hometown Eugene, OR. University of Oregon Graduate. Recently retired from football officiating (19 years) Principle Race Officer, Eugene Yacht Club
DJ CavanaughDJ has been in the system since 1997. He runs 6 stores in the Spokane DMA. He has also helped open Illinois #1, Ohio #1 both of which have since closed, as well as two stores in the Kansas City market that they ran for 5 years before selling them. He has served as a member of the Franchise Advisory Board for 12 years and as a member of the PMFA board for the last 8 years. DJ has been married to his wife Tanya for almost 23 years and they have 3 children Son Joseph 21, Daughters Ly'nee 19 and Allie 14. They live in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho and enjoy the outdoor activities that the area offers.
Shannon SeafordShannon has been with Papa Murphys for 20 years. She started a year after her parents purchased the Wenatchee, WA location in 1996. That store took off and when she came in she knew they needed another location. They had one built with in a year. From then it has been a steady expansion She then helped her brother open the first store in Alaska and grew that to 6 stores. In the meantime, she was busy opening a store in Moses Lake and Ephrata. She has since backed out of Alaska to focus on Washington. She just purchased the Walla Walla and College Place stores. Those have taken up her last two years. Shannon runs all of her stores. She has managers in place but she is her own area supervisor. She is now 2 years into her 5 year plan of backing out of the stores on a daily basis. Her focus is training her children, son in-law, and nephew on running the locations. She was awarded Owner Operator of the year at the convention in Anaheim, CA.
Michael BertramMichael was born and raised in Coeur d' Alene, ID where he fell in love with Papa Murphy's at a young age. He has worked 35 years in the Hospitality, Food and Beverage business. When he finds time to get away from his store, he enjoys spending time with his wife Bridge, boating on Lake Travis, or playing golf. He also enjoys Trap and Skeet Shooting
Steven MelhornSteven and his wife, Britt bought into their family's Papa Murphy's in January of 2017. He has been working in the store for 7 years. They have one store in Albany, OR which was opened by his in-laws as a Papa Aldo's 34 years ago. Steven has a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Puget Sound (go Loggers!) and in his free time enjoys homebrewing beer. Growing up in Colorado, he was fully unaware of Papa Murphy's as a brand, but once introduced to the concept and product by Britt, he realized the potential and quality. With just one store, he is in the store every week and understands many of the issues facing owner operators.
Patrick McCabePatrick and his wife Melissa have been owners for 14 years. They own three stores in the Spokane DMA. Patrick was born and raised in Spokane, WA where he attended Eastern Washington University. Patrick is very active in the community, serving young people through nonprofits, like Generation Alive, Peak 7 Adventures and Goodwill Industries. His personal goal is helping young people make the transition into productive adults. Patrick and Melissa live in Spokane with their five children.
